Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy

Only as little as possible, only as often as necessary, only in the right place.

Mesotherapy was already developed in 1952 by the French physician Dr. Michel Pistor and defined as follows:

"Mesotherapy is a newly conceived simple therapeutic method that aims to bring the drug as close as possible to the site of the disease. It is injected locally into the skin (intracutaneously) or superficially under the skin (subcutaneously) in minimal doses.

Practiced in France for over 40 years, MESOTHERAPY is a combination of neural therapy, acupuncture and drug therapy.

In this therapy, special medication mixtures in extremely small doses are injected into the skin by micro-injections very close to the site of the disease or pain. Used correctly, mesotherapy is quickly effective and has almost no side effects.

Although the amount of drugs administered is extremely low, the effect is increased by special combinations of drugs and the locally limited way of application. The resulting "skin depot" ensures a quick and lasting effect. The mini needles of 4 or 6 mm in length used allow tiny, almost painless punctures. Medications injected in this way have a significantly longer effect than conventional intravenous, intramuscular or oral administration.

As a result, the intervals between injections can sometimes be several weeks or even months. Since the treatment takes place at the "right place" and the active ingredients are concentrated at the source of the disease, better and more long-term success is usually achieved than with conventional methods.

A prerequisite for successful mesotherapy, however, is a detailed and precise medical examination and diagnosis, ideally in conjunction with a detailed anamnesis of the patient.

There are many areas of application for mesotherapy, here is a selection:

  • Acne
  • Arthroses
  • Weakness of the connective tissue
  • Cellulite
  • Circulation problems
  • Wrinkle reduction
  • Hair loss
  • Headaches
  • Rheumatic diseases
  • Stretch marks
  • Sports injuries
  • Wound healing problems
  • and many more.
